Protected Tomorrows uses the personal information given to us about you and your family to provide the individualized service our families want and expect from us. We may use this information to develop, offer and deliver new services; enhance current services; respond to inquiries from you or your representative; or to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements.
When you visit our Web site, we may also collect technical and navigational information, such as computer browser type, Internet protocol address, pages visited and average time spent on our Web sites, etc. We use this information to alert you to software compatibility issues, to improve our Web design and functionality and to detect and block security breaches and implement other security measures.
Occasionally we use cookies on our network. Cookies are stored on your computer and send information back to us, letting us know whether you have visited us before or are a new visitor. The cookie is sent back to our site only and doesn’t contain any personal information about you or provide us with any means to contact you. Your placement of an order does not necessarily assure that we will accept your order. We cannot confirm the price of an item until you place an order. At the time that you place your order, it will include an estimate for sales tax; the actual amount will be charged at the time your order is shipped. We will add sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses in the following states: Illinois. Each customer is solely responsible for all sales/use taxes applicable to orders shipped to all other locations. The sales tax we charge will incorporate both state and local taxes and therefore may vary from one locale to another. It will be calculated based on state and local laws, which may include tax on shipping, handling, and gift-wrap charges. No sales tax is applied to gift certificates, but purchases paid for with gift certificates may be subject to tax.
Please be aware that prices, availability and other purchase terms are subject to change without prior notice. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on our site and when errors are discovered, we will correct them. Be advised that PT reserves the right to revoke any stated offer to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted, after it has been confirmed or after your credit card has been charged. If we discover an error after your credit card has been charged and and your order is canceled as a result of the error, your credit card will be refunded the full amount of your order. You will be notified via e-mail if your order has been canceled.
All items purchased from PT are delivered to shipment carriers. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
You may return items to PT, for any reason at anytime for a full refund, so long as they are returned unused and unopened, in the original packaging with full contents. We will process your return promptly and will remit your refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within thirty (30) business days of our receiving your return. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund.

You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of your use of the Web Site or the Agreement must be filed within one year after such claim or cause of action arose or it shall forever be barred, notwithstanding any statute of limitations or other law to the contrary.
The Agreement and the resolution of any dispute related to the Agreement, the Web Site, or items you purchase through the Web Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action or proceeding between PT and you related to the Agreement shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Illinois, County of Lake and/or the Northern District of Illinois, and you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

Mary Anne Ehlert is a nationally recognized expert in special needs planning. As a Partner of Simplicity Group and Founder of Protected Tomorrows, a Simplicity Group commitment, she leads the organization in providing advocacy, education, and planning support to families with loved ones who have disabilities.
Mary Anne founded Protected Tomorrows more than 35 years ago after her family’s personal journey with special needs planning for her sister Marcia’s future revealed a lack of available resources. She has since dedicated her life to building those resources for others.
Prior to founding the company, Mary Anne spent over two decades in corporate financial services. Today, she speaks at national conferences, hosts educational webinars, and leads virtual training programs for families and caregivers of people with special needs and disabilities.
Mary Anne has served on the boards of several disability-focused organizations, including the National Disability Institute, Special Olympics Illinois, a SEDOL Foundation and Gateway to Learning. She currently serves on the boards of the Special Olympics Illinois Foundation, Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation, Integrative Touch, and the Tails for Life Advisory Board.
Mary Anne resides in Barrington, Illinois with her life partner and her three pups. She is proud mother of three stepsons, one who lives independently and shares his life experiences with his peers with disabilities.
